Some folks have been wondering and asking the following questions:
Q: “If these systems were so profitable why are they so cheap?”
A: Why do the developers sell these systems so cheap? Quantity! What do you think is an easier sell – a $1000 robot or a $100 robot? How many times in your life have you bought something that costs over $1000? And something that costs under $100? And how many times have you bought something that costs $1000 over the Internet!?!? I know I haven't...
If you can sell 20 copies of the $100 robot while the other guy is struggling to close one sale – you've made twice as much money as your competition! Forex Autopilot has sold well over 20,000 copies! Think about that!

Q: “Ok, but why don't they just trade with their system on the market instead of selling it?”
A: That is a question which is even easier to answer: They do trade. And... they sell it. They do both. The key, as with any successful business, is diversification of multiple income streams. These two income streams are quite different and they complement each other nicely so most system developers do both – sell their systems to secure a constant, risk-free cash flow and then funnel some of this income into their trading account to trade with and thus amplify their trading profits by using a larger account which makes trading safer (as it allows the account to withstand a much drawdowns and more losses). After all, profitable as it may be every system will have its losing days. Whereas a sale is a sale – pure profit. Cha-ching 1 system sold, $X dollars in profits, cha-ching another system sold, another $X dollars in profits.
There is no risk of losses here. Of course at $50-$200 per system the profits from the sales are much lower than from trading the Forex market but that is exactly why a certain percentage of these sales is usually invested into the trading accounts, thus amplifying the trading profits. Also, the results of trading are used by the developer of the system as proof of profitable trading result in the sales copy of the system!
